so is it rude or ruder to send someone an occasion card after the occasion? on the one hand, you didn't care enough to send it on time, but they didn't know it until they got the card. on the other hand, they figure you didn't get them a card, and SURPRISE! here it is. and who isn't happy to get real, paper mail addressed to you by a friendly or even loving hand? what do you think?

I say send a card, even if it's late. Everyone loves to get mail, and I don't think we know anyone snotty enough to more offended by a card that's late than by no card.
If it's for me, then send it. I love getting cards. If it's not for me, then I guess send it anyway, although it's not as interesting
