i am excessively fond of monarch butterflies, chocolate chip cookie dough, groveling in the dirt for vegetables, and fried chicken; and in another category, my children and grandchildren and husband. i am probably excessively fond of myself, too, and always laugh at my own jokes. when i find something like a book or movie that i love (it doesn't happen all that often), i watch/read it again and again and wish i could go there and quote it for the rest of my life. i am 60 years old and believe that this is the best version of myself, so far.
Ooooh, the dreaded Mother's Day talk. If you could write something that was both touching to mothers and non-offensive to non-mothers, you could sell it online and make a whole lot more than $39.00. Good luck with that.
